Thursday, April 26, 2007 it's bEEn a whilE Truthfully after watching manu losing 2-1 in Roma I said to my self damn there goes the champion’s league title. Looking back at manu history fact shows that manu never get back from a first leg defeat thicken my beliefs that it’s not our year. I wasn’t looking forward for the home tie but I don’t know why I stayed up that night and watched the game; bang one, two, and three. I was gutted especially to see Smith on the score sheet, the build up for that goal was remarkable. That night it seems that pass, every shot look so in-sync playing like true champions as they are. By half time it was in the bag, and I thought to myself just go to bed and read things online in the morning. But no 15 minutes in the bed was painful “argh nothing to lose what watching the game” thus switching on the remote I was surprise to see the 5-0 score line. Damn is this a dream? And Italian team letting in goals; Roma back four that night consist of two Italians, one Romanian and a Frenchmen. Still I was amaze how manu manage to sneak in those goals. The final score 7-1 was a significant achievement especially coming from a 2-1 deficit and winning it with 8-3 on aggregate. posted by imaginEErEr at 8:18 pm |
