Thursday, March 08, 2007 REAListically out… What a game… 1-0 in 11 seconds.. I couldn’t believe my eyes… switching back, middle and forth on the remote, cursing the lag on the remote.. I only manage to miss out in the second Bayern goal through the whole three live telecast ntv7, Espn and star sport. And how shocked was I to see Bayern to score as early as they did, the Madrid defenses were found wondering, surprisingly even without Cannavarro in the side. How on earth did he win player of the year award? None of the top 3 finalist should have got it. Finally I got that out of the chest. I can’t understand why Capello insist on starting with Emerson, he’s way past the pace and even hadn’t got hold of the ball in the 30 minutes. You could see the writing on the wall when Bayern score as early as they did. But I love the last minute twist when Madrid got the penalty and later on Ramos thought he scored a wonderful goal only for the official to disallow it for hand ball. Lost in Transition All thee games was magnificent, Arsenal didn’t look like scoring, Toure was sublime at right back, and when Diaby came on I wonder why didn’t wenger start with him, the beast as usual was tame should have put Aliadiere up front he’s more agile. Never looked like scoring and when Alex got it for arsenal I thought to myself, hey this could be interesting but when Helb gave away the free kick I thought damn this could prove vital for the match. But one thing for sure the arsenal of next year could prove a handful if these kids get their act together and mature up as footballers. It would be an interesting champion’s league for Arsenal next season…. The Theater of Dreams Fancy a Chelski vs. Man U. final.. Another blow to the ever growing injury list, now that we lost Silvestre… Fletcher out, Saha out, Smith out, Solksjaer out, Larsson’s going back. The squad is test to it mare bones, but seeing Larsson scoring that goal shows how much he’s really worth during his loan spell here. Lille makes it hard for the devils and could have made an upset of the tournament. But at the end of the day like the match against Liverpool last Saturday Manchester rode their luck once again… Labels: arsenal, madrid, manchester united posted by imaginEErEr at 6:38 am |
