Wednesday, March 07, 2007 Monkey Wrench I was planning to go because somehow the tickets went on Red Members yesterday (has since sold out) but I finish class at half six and by the time I get to Ashburton Grove, it'll be 8pm. If we crash out, it's all my fault because I can proudly claim I have unbeaten record whenever I go watch them play. The mêlée at the Mestalla is freakin' hilarious. I love football brawls. Especially when it's proper punches, not those girly ones like Diego and Fabiano here: Poor eyes to arms coordination. Or even Scholesey's attempt at Xabi because he missed. Booooo... The highly controversial Battle of the Old Trafford I wasn't even that great because nobody was hurt. I do feel that some people were traumatized by the frightful and legendary Martin Keown. ![]() The brawl post Turkey-Swiss World Cup 2006 qualifying game was good but none of the action were really captured on camera, if I remember correctly. Another was Argentina vs England in the World Cup but it was all handbags. I remember Andy Cole getting heavily involved in the match against Fulham (I think). He threw a proper punch there. At least unlike what Glen Hoddle claims, he does not need 9 chances to hit the target... ;) Anyway, back to Arsenal. PSV will be without two of their defenders. We seem to not have any right backs at the moment. Personally, Justin Hoyte > Eboue. I was very critical of Justin earlier this season but he's improved leaps and bounds whereas Eboue is just a big drama queen. Henry will be back though. The thing is, will he be as effective on the pitch as he is off it...? ![]() I kid, I joke! Come on you gooooooners!
